Modern Monday/Traditional Tuesday - almost finished!

Since I finished my Sow-Along quilt top, I decided to tackle another long-term project - getting caught up on the Modern Monday and Traditional Tuesday blocks.  Today I was able to get 16 of them done - 17 if you count the one that's the wrong size.

There are only a couple of blocks left to do, and then I need to think about sewing them together in two different tops. Since I didn't do all 64 of each one, I think I'll select my favorites and do 56 of each one. I can put the extra ones on the backs.

Modern Monday/Traditional Tuesday - all caught up!

While we were in Colorado this summer, I didn't do ANY Modern Monday or Traditional Tuesday blocks. I didn't take any of the "modern" fabric with me, and wanted to just wait until I got back and get all caught up. Today I finished the last block, and am now ready for tomorrow's Modern Monday block 55.

Modern Monday/Traditional Tuesday - caught up (for now)

I've been enjoying some nice days in my sewing studio. I may have mentioned in an earlier post that I'm doing some substitute teaching with the district from which I recently retired; I like to work 2-3 days a week and spend the other days in my sewing room. Last week I worked Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so I got to sew Tuesday, Thursday, and today.

I am now current on the Modern Monday/Traditional Tuesday blocks from Jenifer's 42 Quilts. While Jenifer is starting to put them in rows and sew them together, I'm going to wait until all of them are done and lay them out the way that looks best. I might make some smaller quilts - I haven't decided.
